NOVELTY – KIKKOMAN KIMCHI SAUCE!

Kimchi is a traditional Korean spice and fermented dish consisting of pickled vegetables. Koreans typically eat kimchi with every meal. Nowadays, kimchi is very well known internationally and has gained a reputation as a superfood.

The combination of garlic, ginger, chili peppers, salt and fish sauce creates an especially flavorful taste. Kikkoman Kimchi Spicy Chilli Sauce tastes amazing in pretty much everything – rice, stir-fry dishes, noodles, eggs, stews, salad dressings, as a dip sauce (mixed with mayonnaise, cream or fat-free yoghurt). 

KIMCHI CABBAGE RECIPE
YOU WILL NEED:
500 g Chinese cabbage
1 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. KIKKOMAN Kimchi Sauce

PREPARATION:
1. Wash the Chinese cabbage and cut it into bite-sized pieces.

2. Put the Chinese cabbage in a bowl sprinkled with salt.
3. Cover the bowl, weigh it down and put it in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours.
4. Drain the liquid and squeeze the cabbage well.
5. Mix the cabbage with KIKKOMAN Kimchi Sauce, put in a sealed container or food bag. Marinate overnight in the fridge (or longer if desired) and serve.
6. Kimchi cabbage can be stored in the fridge for about 1–10 days.
