Mango Sticky Rice

Ingredients:
• 150 g sticky rice
• 200 ml coconut milk
• 2 tbsp sugar
• a pinch of salt
• 1 ripe mango or ~120–150 g mango purée
Optional: sesame seeds or shredded coconut for garnish.
Instructions:
- Rinse the rice in cold water until the water runs clear.
- Soak the rice in water for 20–30 minutes (if time allows).
- Steam or cook the rice for about 15–20 minutes until soft and sticky.
- In a saucepan, gently heat the coconut milk with sugar and a pinch of salt (do not boil; just warm until the sugar dissolves).
- When the rice is ready, pour about 2/3 of the coconut sauce over it, mix, and let it absorb for 5–10 minutes.
- Serve with fresh mango slices or mango purée, either on top or on the side.
- Drizzle with the remaining coconut sauce before serving.
