Tempura Bananas
Ingredients:
- Bananas
- Oil for deep frying
- 150 g Tempura
- 250–300 ml cold sparkling water
- Vanilla ice cream for serving
- Vanilla or other sauce of your choice for serving
Instructions:
- Place the tempura batter mix in a bowl and add cold sparkling water. Mix well (the batter should be fairly thin).
- Refrigerate the batter briefly.
- Cut the bananas into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a saucepan or deep frying pan.
- Dip the banana pieces into the tempura batter and fry in hot oil for a short time (30–60 seconds) until golden.
- Transfer to paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream and your favorite sweet sauce.
